My name is John M. (Marc) Knight and I was elected to the Bountiful, Utah City Council in 2007. I have enjoyed serving the residents of Bountiful and am now seeking a second term.  The election will be in November 2011. 

I am a longtime resident of Bountiful. I grew up in Bountiful on 250 North and Davis Blvd.

I attended Hannah Holbrook Elementary School, Bountiful Junior High School and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1978. I then attended Weber State College where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 1983. I also graduated from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. I hold a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University in Orange, California.

I am a retired career Army officer and currently own and operate Energy Insurance Agency here in Bountiful.

I am married to my wonderful wife Denise and have four of the greatest daughters, three sons-in law and four grandchildren in the world.
